Searching for a new custom Florida home on the state’s northeast coast? The master-planned community of Nocatee is a great choice! We at ICI Homes have been a preferred builder here for more than a decade and this perennial best-selling community is a winner all the way around.
Nestled in Ponte Vedra, between Jacksonville to the north and historic St. Augustine to the south, it’s long been one of the Sunshine State’s most popular addresses. And not only for people. Nocatee’s a great choice for pets too.
We all know how important those best-friend family members are, and while we love cats, birds and everything in between, we’ll concentrate on Fido here.
Read on to see how Nocatee can be Fido’s other best friend.
Why Nocatee Rocks
Its stellar location puts you near everything, including Atlantic beaches a five-minute drive east. Nocatee’s amenities — TWO water parks, multiple neighborhood parks, playgrounds, event spaces, and Nocatee Town Center for shopping and services — also are next-level.
There’s even a monthly meetup for Nocatee pup parents called Yappy Hour. It’s usually scheduled for Saturdays at Nocatee Station Field from 5-7 p.m. Food and libations are available at Blue Water Bar & Grill, located next door at the Nocatee Spray Park.
Dog parks-palooza
There are 10 dog parks in Nocatee. You read that right. They’re found in various communities, and in neighborhood parks that contain other resident amenities.
Nocatee’s newest dog park is in Seabrook Park, in the Seabrook Village community. West End Park, Crosswater Park and Settler’s Pond all have separate parks for large and small dogs.
Wagin’ Tails is in Twenty Mile Park, in the Twenty Mile Village.
The Central Bark park is at Twenty Mile Post, between the Crossing and the Outlook neighborhoods. It features an agility course.
The Cypress Trails neighborhood dog park is named Cypress Tails. It’s also next door to the Cypress Park resident amenities.
Paws Dog Park is in Davis Park. It offers two dog parks, once of which contains a handy dog wash for messy Fidos. It’s also convenient to Davis Park’s playgrounds and sports fields.
Happy Tails Dog Park is in the Greenleaf Village neighborhood. It’s a good way to take Fido for a walk via surrounding trails and there’s an enclosed play space.
The Trails for Tails dog park is in Nocatee’s Community Park, which contains multiple trails along with sports courts and fields. It’s next door to Nocatee Station Field.
Customize those pet spaces
ICI Homes is building new custom Florida homes in three Nocatee neighborhoods — Coral Ridge at Seabrook, Palm Crest at Seabrook and the West End Townhomes. Soon, we’ll be active in Nocatee’s final neighborhood — Reflections at Seabrook.
Come see us and we’ll help brainstorm your pet-centric spaces. Think a dog shower in the laundry room, with bins and shelves for pet food and supplies.
Have a staircase? Tuck a cutout for pet beds underneath it.
